Willington Public Schools: Facilities Director

The Willington Public Schools is seeking a Facilities Director. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in project administration and capital budgeting, and be skilled at communicating with staff, vendors, and the community. The Facilities Director is responsible for the coordination of all projects including the proposal process, reviewing submissions, interviewing vendors, and recommending vendors. They will also be responsible for reviewing and developing contracts, and project oversight including inspection, budget, schedule, and providing professional expertise.

Candidates must have an Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in construction management, architectural design, or engineering. Experience with project management in a municipal or school setting is desired. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license. The preferred candidate will be subject to a background check.

This 12-month position has a full benefits package and a salary range of $70,000-$81,000 depending upon the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. This position will occasionally perform duties outside of the normal work day.
