A member of the Finance and Operations Unit in CREC Resource Group, this position will provide payroll services to all temporary and brokered employees and is responsible for supporting the administrative needs of CREC Resource Group.

Administrative Assistant - Timekeeper
A member of the Finance and Operations Unit in CREC Resource Group, this position will provide payroll services to all temporary and brokered employees and is responsible for supporting the administrative needs of CREC Resource Group.
Essential Job Functions
- Administers, monitors and processes all temporary and brokered employees payroll by compiling timecard data, calculating any payroll adjustments, processing all late and revised timesheets within established time frames, and entering data into CRG’s customer relationship management tool, Dynamics 365.
- Liaise with Payroll and HR personnel at CREC Central to set up new hires, input employee change information, and other related tasks.
- Responds to and resolves employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefit time, and other pay related issues.
- Ensures the confidentiality, accuracy, and security of all payroll data.
- Creates and maintains benefit time for brokered employees.
- Effectively supports administrative functions to help achieve the CREC Resource Group’s strategic and business goals through one or more of the following tasks:
- Composes documents and correspondence for the purpose of requesting or providing information, confirming events, etc.
- Provides contract and financial records support for various programs.
- Tracks status of contracts, billing, and purchase orders for various programs.
- Prepares contracts for services with districts and other organizations.
- Prepares temporary staff, independent contractors, and vendor contracts.
- Follow up on payment to outside consultants and vendors.
- Prepares documents or materials for events.
- Communicates with external, contracted, or part-time staff, as needed to support contracts and events.
- Provides support to managers, education specialists, and other division staff, as assigned.
- Works with staff to generate workshops in Protraxx; monitors enrollment and billing.
- Assists in maintaining documents, confidential files, and records.
- Serves as liaison to other departments or divisions and/or with outside organizations.
- Updates documents and information in online databases and systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, copy machines, fax machines, and telephones.
- Limited travel to and from meetings may be required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Google Suite, MUNIS, SharePoint, Protraxx, Meeting Planner, survey programs, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems and/or other financial or sales systems.
- Highly flexible and adaptive work style with the ability to prioritize among competing demands.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to recognize and protect confidential information.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the division.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must have strong administrative skills with the ability and desire to learn and keep abreast of new process workflow and business tools, programs, and systems.
- Works in standard office and school building environments.
- Light lifting may be required.
- Associate’s degree in Secretarial Science, Public Administration, Education, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative support experience preferred.
