ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
SALARY: Secretary A, per union contract

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Process all applications for employee benefits including updating contact information in various insurance databases.
- Maintain accurate files, records and accounts including the completion of all data entry requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work with municipal staff in coordinating the benefit program.
- Serve as the liaison with insurance carriers and the Board of Education.
- Follow up on all inquiries concerning the employee benefits program.
- Serve as a resource for negotiations for benefits.
- Advise staff regarding the retirement benefits available through the Board.
- Update (TRB) Teacher’s Retirement Board subsidies
- Process monthly retirement paperwork (over 65-year-old).
- Verify, reconcile and process all insurance invoices for payments including retirees.
- Process all contract changes with the various insurance carriers.
- Process all dependent cessation insurance cancellations and COBRA
- Process reports and letters yearly for dependent cessation notifications
- Administration of Workers’ Compensation claims, reports and vouchers.
- Process unemployment claims
- Administration of FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) requests, follow-up paperwork and process vouchers.
- Process short term disability applications.
- Run reports and balance weekly deductions.
- Manage wellness program with the Director of Talent Management.
- Serve as a member of the safety committee.
- Compile data concerning rates.
- Provide input for budget preparation purposes.
- Maintain confidentiality of staff information.
- Work with staff from other school districts as needed.
- Prepare state and federal reports as required.
- Process monthly Alliance Grant information for Superintendent.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
