12 Month Position – 40 Hours per week
Salary Range - $42,875 - $53,568 dependent upon experience

The Technology Integration Specialist position provides instructional and technical support in use of  iOS devices, Apple MacOS and Windows OS. The position reports to the Chief Technology Officer or designee.
    • Overall responsibility for the GHS / SMS iPad initiative including support, process repairs,troubleshooting issues with Wifi or Apps, and the implementation of new technologies in the iPad initiative.
    • Responsible for repairs and troubleshooting of iOS hardware, Wifi and APPs
    • Maintain and update iPad inventory
    • Oversight and coordination of iPad insurance program
    • Responsible for deployments of iPads to students and staff at GHS/SMS
    • Support AppleTV’s at GHS / SMS
    • Participate in district level meetings and action planning, where appropriate
    • Assist in summer projects as determined by the Chief Technology Officer or designee
    • Research current and emerging technologies and make recommendations to current programs and process
    • Provide professional development as appropriate.
    • Collaborate with other TIS members to diagnose, problem solve and resolve any technical issues
    • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Chief Technology Officer, or designee
    • Associate’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
    • Apple Technical Certifications preferred
    • Driver’s license in good standing
    • Advanced knowledge of Apple MacOS and iOS
    • Advanced knowledge and skills to use various computing technologies including cellular telephone.
    • Strong customer service experience
    • Proactively anticipates issues before they arise and develops appropriate solutions
    • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
    • Skills to manage own time appropriately
    • Engage service providers, as appropriate
    • Ability to work with or contribute to a work group or team and/or participate in group activities requiring skills and cooperation with others

    • Knowledge to install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.

    • Ability to analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
    • Ability to travel between all GPS schools and offices, as required.
