POSITION:                                 Special Education Teacher – Long Term Substitute    
 
SCHOOL:                                   Consolidated School – Grade 1
 
GENERAL DUTIES:                   
Collaborate with regular and pupil personnel service staff and administrators; establish and maintain communication with parents of student on caseload; evaluate students using standards based and curriculum based measures; develop and evaluate measurable goals and objectives; provide direct and co-taught instruction to students; collect, analyze and interpret RtI data; other duties as assigned.
 
POSITION TO START:               Beginning of December 2018
 
POSITION TO END:                   End of January 2019
 
QUALIFICATIONS:                     CT Certification in Special Education (165, 265 or 065)
Excellent teaming, collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction and provide inclusive education highly desirable.
