Job Description:
The Devereux Glenholme School is seeking a Full-Time Social Worker with behavioral experience and skills in ABA, PBIS, and DBT training, to provide support to children and adolescents who are diagnosed with various learning differences. This position includes day and evening hours to provide individual therapy, in-vivo coaching and family case management.

Devereux Glenholme School is a therapeutic boarding school located in Washington, CT, for young people diagnosed with Asperger’s, ADHD, PDD, OCD, Tourette’s, depression, anxiety, and various learning differences. The program provides a treatment milieu designed to build competence socially and academically.

As the full-time Social Worker, you will: 
- Provide individual and family counseling services. Educate parents in Glenholme Motivational Management and the use of the Parent Point System. Prepare the student and family for discharge, and conduct follow-up activities with discharged students.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of student's strengths, treatment needs, goal achievement, and treatment plan efficacy.  Assist in treatment planning and program implementation for assigned students. Conduct case management services for assigned students in a timely manner.
- Serve as a liaison between parents, agencies and faculty. Ensure confidentiality regarding student, family and program information. Ensure accessibility through flexible schedule, which meets the student and family needs.
- Instruct interdisciplinary team members regarding the student's treatment needs. Work with behavior personnel to design effective proactive and reactive strategies and techniques. Share on-call responsibilities.
- Participate in the enrollment process, and in all conferences and treatment plan reviews.

Our IDEAL candidate will have: Experience in behavioral interventions using ABA, PBIS, and DBT training with the special needs populations, the ability to engage and motivate children, well developed active listening skills, well developed written and oral expression, knowledge and experience with a variety of computer hardware and software options, and the ability to analyze data.

Job Requirements:
MSW required, LCSW/LMSW preferred. School Social Work certification (or in progress) preferred.
At least two year experience working with children.  Experience with special needs children preferred.
