JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Teacher - Computer Science

Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and administer curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
- Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, and student learning.
- Develops grade-level appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials for computer science/technology courses and translates lesson plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential activities, challenge students, maintain the target language in class, and best utilize the available time for instruction.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modify instructional methods to fit individual students' needs; conduct individual and small group instruction as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Develop student agency, ownership, self-advocacy, and effective communication skills with regard to learning.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Certification Area: Any Secondary Education endorsement;
- Preferred: Computer Science 7-12 (110), Technology PK-12 (047), or Business 7-12 (030)
