Located in an idyllic setting in the northernmost corner of Fairfield County, Connecticut, The Sherman School is a small, PK-8 school with approximately 230 students and 60 dedicated faculty and staff members. We offer small class sizes, and wonderful resources to support our programs.
Title: Paraprofessional
Reports to: Director of Special Education
Days and Hours: Monday through Friday, 22-29 total hours per week

Reports to: Director of Special Education
Days and Hours: Monday through Friday, 22-29 total hours per week
Salary
- $21.59 per hour
- There are no medical benefits associated with this position
Key Responsibilities
- Assist students with instruction under the direction of the special education teacher/general education teacher
- Assist classroom teacher in monitoring student behavior and records behavior data when required by the IEP
- Provides accommodations and modifications as specified by the IEP
- All other duties as assigned by administrator
