We are looking for a qualified high school Computer Science / Technology Education Teacher who has knowledge and skills required to teach a dynamic curriculum.
Qualifications

• Certification:  The successful candidate must hold current CT certification Technology Education Pk-12 (047) 
• Excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills

Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge base to teach:

• Introduction to Computer Science
• AP Computer Science 
• Robotics
• 3D Modeling and Animation
• Engineering

Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement lessons that provide opportunities for problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills in relation to authentic real-world problems
• Establish clear learning intentions and success criteria for learning
• Plan learning experiences to support individual students.
• Utilize formative assessment to monitor and adjust instruction
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress in relation to curriculum expectations
• Stay current with technology education and pedagogy and seek opportunities to share professional learning with colleagues. 
• Organize and maintain records, manage time and resources effectively and efficiently.
• Foster positive relationships with community stakeholders 
• Perform other duties as assigned
