Literacy Aide Paraeducator
(1 opening)

10-month position
Hourly Rate: $19.37 per bargaining unit contract

Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits, or have passed the ParaPro assessment

Example of Essentials Duties:

• Provide supplemental literacy instruction for students under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Assists the teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Assists the teacher with classroom duties and setup and preparing and maintain classroom materials and supplies
• Provide specific modifications, and/or accommodations, for assigned student(s). This can include repeating directions, performing task analysis, reading assignments or tests, document instructions and organize homework assignments.
