ANTICIPATED POSITIONS: 1.0 Behavior Technician / HES
SALARY: $22.10 - $24.16 (Based on 2025-2029 UPSEU Contract)
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree, 2 years of higher education, or passing score on the ParaPro assessment

Position Summary:
Behavior Technicians are required to work with students with special needs under the direction of a special education case manager to assist in the implementation of IEP goals and objectives. The behavior technician supports and works in cooperation with the Principal, Dean of Students, Director of Educational Services, and assigned educators in performing the varied tasks involved with supporting students who receive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Programming (DTI). The qualified candidate will utilize the tenets of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support program development and implementation/progress monitoring of educational programs.
Behavior technicians provide 1:1 support to students with autism and related disabilities. The ideal candidate has prior experience in this role, specifically in supporting students with autism spectrum disorders or significant behavioral needs and application of applied behavior analysis.
