Paraprofessional – Supporting Multilingual Learners (No Second Language Required)
Milford Public Schools – Districtwide
Milford Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to support Multilingual Learners (MLs) across our district. This position plays an important role in helping students who are developing English proficiency engage fully in classroom learning and achieve success in school.
Note: You do not need to speak a second language for this position.
We welcome applicants who are caring, dependable, and enthusiastic about helping students learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in the classroom under the direction of teachers
• Assist with instructional activities and accommodations
• Encourage student engagement, participation, and confidence
• Collaborate with teachers and Multilingual Learner staff to carry out support plans
• Travel between schools as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree, or passing score on the ParaPro Assessment, or high school diploma required
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting student learning

Additional Information:

• Mode of transportation for travel between school sites is required
