The Stratford Public Schools has the following position available for the 2025-2026 School Year:

English Teacher 
Stratford High School 

Stratford High School is looking for an individual who has the:
 
  • Ability to design and deliver effective instruction to students at all grade and academic levels, supporting them in becoming skilled readers and writers of complex texts. 
  • Strong ability to scaffold delivery of academic content,  differentiate by content, process, and product, and utilize student-centered strategies centered around 21st century skills and Portrait of a Graduate
  • Ability to positively engage students and families in the learning process.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues to improve learning for all students.
  • Ability to use data to make instructional decisions 
  • Ability to provide a high-performing learning environment by setting, maintaining, and modeling high standards of professional conduct.
  • Demonstrates a mindset in developing personally and professionally around issues of diversity, social justice, and equitable representation.
