ACES is accepting applications for special education teacher candidates to fill anticipated vacancies at Village School, in North Haven, CT.
ACES Village School provides collaborative educational, emotional, and physical services to children ages 3 to 14 years with a range of cognitive, physical, behavioral, language, and medical challenges. Village School celebrates the diversity of our student population through innovative and individualized instruction.
ACES Village School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our dedicated team. Our students present with a range of complex needs, including significant cognitive disabilities, medical complexities, and multiple modes of communication.

Successful candidates must possess strong teaching qualities, care deeply for children and have good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
CT certification as a Special Education teacher (165) required.
Will consider candidates who are currently enrolled in a Special Education Teacher preparation program and are eligible for a Durational Shortage Area Permit (DSAP).
