ACES at Chase, a Magnet Schools of America National School of Excellence, is seeking a dedicated and innovative High School Math Teacher with a 4-12 (029) certification to join our dynamic team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics education, adept at engaging students, and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and empower students to excel in mathematics while incorporating project-based learning strategies. ACES at Chase is currently expanding from a 6-8 to 6-12 school: candidates excited to be a part of an expanding program are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Valid Connecticut mathematics education certification; 4-12 (029).
Proficiency in utilizing project-based learning methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
Strong content knowledge in algebra, geometry, calculus, and other relevant areas of mathematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms for instructional delivery and assessment.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners and create an accessible learning environment for all students.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
