Position: World Language Teacher, French (1.0 FTE)
Positional Available: SY 2025-2026
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university/ Connecticut Certification (018)
Reports to: Building Principal
Job Goal: To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as self-reliant, life-long learners and responsible citizens.

- Design, plan, and implement subject area lessons based on applicable state standards
- Ensure accommodations and modifications are made for the growth and development of all students
- Guide students in maintaining acceptable standards of classroom behavior
- Maintain records of individual student achievement and evaluating students on a continuous basis
- Meet and instructing assigned classes at designated times
- Prepare for classes and maintaining written evidence of preparation
- Uphold and enforce school rules, school board policies, and administrative regulations
- Work with other members of the world language staff to plan instructional goals, objectives, and methods
- Supports and promotes the District’s Core Ethical Values with students, colleagues and parents
