Position: Summer Session - PE Teachers
Program/Department: Special Education
Position Length: July 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025 (+ 1 day PMT Training 6/25/2025), Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm (Closed July 4th & 7th for holiday)
Salary Range: Per CESEA contract
Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2025 (+ 1 day of PMT Training 6/25/2025 - if required)
Closing date of applications: 5/23/2025
Qualifications: Candidates must have a degree in physical education and be eligible for/hold State of Connecticut teach certificate required for the position. Candidates with previous teaching experience and a MS/MA in the discipline/field are preferred. See attached job description.
Responsibilities: Available in preschool, elementary and secondary level special education summer session programs. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team for students with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, neurological impairment and serious emotional disabilities. See attached job description.
