GRADE 7 - MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER
 
Date Available:  Late March 2025
 
Salary & Benefits:  In accordance with the Redding Education Association’s collective bargaining agreement. Competitive benefits.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Appropriate CT teaching certification for middle school Social Studies
  • Administers education curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives
  • Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to student learning
  • Strong knowledge base in the discipline
  • Strong understanding of the developmental needs of young adolescents
  • Experience in student assessment and program design
  • Motivation to meet the diverse needs of middle school learners
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and learning
