Preschool Teacher -  Wheeler School

Bachelor's Degree and Connecticut certification Integrated Early Childhood/Special Education(#112) or Integrated Early Childhood/Elementary Ed.N-3/Special Education(#113) required.  Candidates currently enrolled in a formal college program to acquire #112 or #113 Certification will also be considered.  Experience teaching in a fully integrated preschool program preferred.  Must demonstrate a strong foundation of developmentally appropriate early childhood practices to assess and promote student growth in all developmental domains, have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong ability to develop nurturing relationships with students and families, and be able to work well as part of a team in order to meet the needs of also students, as well as to develop and implement student IEPs in an inclusive classroom.  Salary based on teacher contract.
