Position Role Expectation: 
An IT Director is essential to the Leadership Team at Twin Lakes Tech. A Director is responsible for strengthening the relationship between ourselves and the customer. They do this by staying connected to the organization, proactively solving problems, acting in the best interest of the customer, and leading their team. 
The IT Director also takes on a large responsibility in the management of their team, a Director will manage up to 6 employees stretching over multiple customer sites. Efficiently managing their team is a key role to their success and the success of Twin Lakes Tech.
Outside of building strong relationships with customers and leading their internal team, a Director will have other duties such as preparing budgets, E-rate assistance, procurement, reporting, etc. An IT Director will take complete ownership of themself, the results of their team, and the satisfaction of their customers.

  • Expert knowledge of Twin Lakes Tech including operations, processes, procedures, business functions, etc.

  • A Director needs to have the following traits, commitment to the company, integrity, resilience, empathy, and self-awareness  
  • In addition, an IT Director needs to be highly skilled in the following, critical thinking, delegation, and decision-making
Directors Duties: 
  • Advanced understanding of customer's workplace politics and organization (struggles, administration, goals, functions)
  • Build strong relationships with department heads and administration staff
  • Complete long-term budget planning 
  • Effectively manage and motivate up to 7 employees
  • Perform yearly E-rate 
  • Customer documentation of policies and procedures  
  • Attend and participate in customer department head meetings 
  • Attend the occasional event (Job fair, open house, conference event)
  • As-needed presentations to the customer board
  • Regularly run check-in meetings with the organization's key stakeholder(s)
  • Weekly 1 on 1 with employees  
  • Regularly run internal team meetings
  • Successfully managed large projects 
  • Handles procurement approval 
  • Be the escalation point for customers and team members
  • Ensure that contract standards are upheld (SLA, security, time commitment, etc.)
  • Mentorship for Associate IT Directors 
  • Participate in Leadership meetings
  • Brainstorm ideas to improve our processes as well as take initiatives to make things happen

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related discipline/ Masters Preferred ? 3 years of successful experience leading an organization's IT Department 
Salary  75,000+
