Position: Spanish Teacher (focus on Grades 5-8) - 1.0 FTE
Job Summary:
Successful candidates should demonstrate excellent command of the Spanish language, the ability to instruct students according to the curriculum, and knowledge of pedagogical and assessment practices that support the attainment of learning outcomes. They must also be strong collaborators and able to articulate their beliefs about how to contribute to a positive and energized school climate and culture. Finally, candidates must be willing to demonstrate flexibility and innovation as we adapt to ever-changing educational needs during these uncertain times.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree with CT Certification in Spanish (023 and 101) or other applicable certificate
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching the subject area
- Evidence of ability to work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, parents, and students
- Evidence of organizational ability and willingness to pursue tasks to successful completion
- Superior oral and written communication skills
