The Connecticut River Academy(http://www.ctriveracademy.org) is a Sustainability Studies /Early College magnet school, operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford. We currently have (1) Full-time immediate opening for an enthusiastic Music Teacher in the Middle Grades Program. This vacancy is for the 2025-26 school year. An ideal candidate is someone who has an ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The school features a collaborative learning model, block scheduling, hands-on learning, and multiple connections to Goodwin University. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings, and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education. The selected teacher will become a member of a dynamic team of educators. Music certification (049) required. E0E.
