The Paraprofessional assists and works under the direction of teachers and/or other professional educators in the delivery of instructional and related services to students.
Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:25 am to 3:25 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Pay Rate: 2023-2024 hourly rate is $20.17 per the current CSEA, SEIU Local 2001 contract.
Benefits: Comprehensive Health and Welfare Benefits per current CSEA, SEIU Local 2001 contract.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or two years of college credit OR a High School diploma or equivalent and a passing score of 457 on the Praxis ParaPro assessment.
- Must be certified in Physical Management Training (PMT) or be willing to be trained and certified.
- Elementary school experience is preferred.
- Aptitude, emotional maturity, and stability are necessary for working with various types of children and professional staff.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must possess good judgment in the supervision of, management of, and communication with students.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
