SY2022-2023 Talent Pools for Certified Teachers
HPS is actively hiring teachers for the 2022-2023 school year! Teachers newly hired to the district in one of our hard-to-fill positions are eligible for a $5,000 signing incentive. Effective October 18, 2022, full-time, newly hired certified teachers in district identified shortage areas for the 2022-23 school year will be eligible to receive a $3,000 signing incentive.

Education & Certification Requirements
Candidates must have a conferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and must also possess and maintain the certification requirements for this position as established by the Connecticut state statutes.
Salary
Pay will be commensurate with experience, educational level, and in accordance with the Hartford Federation of Teachers’ Collective Bargaining Agreement salary schedule.
