Title Teachers
City Hartford, East Hartford
Description Seeking experienced Teachers to join the CREC team working in Hartford or East Hartford locations, serving adolescents with social, emotional, learning and behavioral problems. Subject areas needed are Special Education, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science, as well as Physical Education.

Provide instruction to students using methods and activities which best meet predetermined objectives, facilitate student growth by promoting active participation in the learning experience, promoting analytical thinking, teaching effective work habits and study skills and providing opportunities for individual achievement. Develop and maintain classroom materials and displays. Utilize appropriate diagnostic and assessment techniques and inform supervisor of results and recommendations.
Requirements Bachelor's degree and current CT certification, DSAP-eligible may be considered.
Experience completing assessments, individualizing instruction and working with children and adolescents in alternative settings a plus.
