Description:
A small rural community with excellent facilities and a high performing school is looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to teach pre-school beginning in fall 2008. This teacher should be familiar with the Connecticut state pre-school frameworks, state curriculum standards and hold the appropriate Connecticut teaching certificate. The position is half time, daily from 8:15 am to 12:00 noon. The pre-K program is managed through a team approach with considerable instructional support and small class size. Classes are comprised of three and four year old students. Salary is regionally competitive and based upon the collective bargaining agreement. Interviews will begin immediately and the position will remain open until filled.
