Description:
FULL TIME CERTIFIED SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER needed at Common Ground High School, a small, dynamic public, charter high school in New Haven with 150 students. The school, which has an environmental education focus, is located on an urban demonstration farm at the base West Rock Park. The Special Education Teacher will work with and support students in resource, classrooms and after school, and with teachers on differentiation and planning to meet student needs. There is a required one-week teacher training July 7-11, 2008, and teaching responsibilities begin with the 2008-2009 academic year.
