Achievement First seeks a talented, committed educator to serve as a middle school math teacher at Amistad Academy Middle School. The school is based on the Achievement First model: extremely high expectations for student achievement, rigorous instruction, no-excuses discipline, and a positive, achievement-oriented school culture. Our math curriculum is very standards-based. We have clearly defined the knowledge and skills our students need at each grade level, and teachers very explicitly help students master them.

As a member of our team and family, you will work with our team of dedicated teachers and administrators to do "whatever it takes" to ensure that all our scholars are dramatically improving their academic and character skills. As a teacher, you will work to create a positive, achievement-oriented class culture.
