Description:
ACES is seeking a bright, energetic full-time Speech/Language Pathologist to be a member of the Assistive Technology Team. This position will provide exceptional opportunities for teaming collaboration, assessment and implementing best practices for Assistive Technology in concepts of Universal Design for Learning.

Responsibilities include: Work as a leader and collaborator within school settings as a member of the AT Team. The AT Team will complete AT Assessments of students exhibiting a wide range of communication disorders, incorporate the principles of Universal Design for Learning, provide training to staff, students and family members to ensure the integration of AT tools to support effective implementation into the curriculum, assist w/data collection, and make recommendations for program improvements.

Requirements include: Proper CT certification required; ASHA certification preferred, experience working with children, knowledge of AT implementation with an extensive knowledge of alternative communication systems, and strong collaboration skills necessary.
