Description:
Director of Special Education: The Westbrook Public Schools are seeking a Director of Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services effective August 1, 2008. We are a small suburban school district of 998 students, located on the shoreline. There are approximately 80 special education students in the district. A minimum of 5 years of special education teaching or pupil personnel experience and appropriate certification in special education, related services and Administrator crtification are required. The successful candidate should possess a thorough understanding of special education and pupil personnel services, successful leadership experience, strong communication skills, creativity and enthusiasm to lead a comprehensive program.
